A handcrafted mushroom, made from vintage linen. This piece was painstakingly hand stitched, with a ruffly under cap and scraggly roots. This piece features some dainty guidelines for embroidery stamped on the material.
Once stitched, the mushroom was treated with a nontoxic bath to maintain shape and create depth with a light stain. The fungi is nestled atop a piece of natural, preserved moss and a wood slice.
